As part of our commitment to sourcing new and innovative furniture, we decided to send Nicole, our Product Manager, to the Salone Del Mobile – the world’s largest Furniture Fair and part of the widely celebrated Milan Design Week, in Italy.
Nicole met with some of our existing partners to strengthen our current relationships and get a first-look at their latest designs before their release later this year. This was also an exciting opportunity to source new products and brands that align with our values and clients needs. We eagerly anticipate revealing all of these to you soon, so stay tuned!
In the meantime, here is a short summary of some of our favourite brands that were at the show and products you can expect to see online and in our showroom very soon.
S-CAB
We love S-cab’s range of carefully considered outdoor furniture. There were some great new additions to their existing range, like the Brezza Lounge Chair, and some brand new pieces including, Hyppo, a playful new outdoor coffee table. We were also lucky enough to visit the S-CAB factory in Coccaglio – about an hour from Milan. Stay tuned for more on this exclusive tour in the coming weeks.
NEW LIFE
This forest hide-away in the middle of Milan’s bustling Design district was the perfect escape on a busy day. It was also a great chance to see New Life’s first outdoor collection, L’ALA, in it’s element, featuring an armchair, bar stool, lounge and of course the matching tables. We love the contemporary colours this range comes in and that it matches the already extensive range of timber colours New Life has on offer.
SF COLLECTION
As one of Mint’s latest European partnerships this was a great opportunity to meet with Erich, the Managing Director of SF, and third generation of this family owned Italian made furniture. We love the custom options and endless variations available throughout SF’s collections, and enjoyed being able to take a seat and inspect the quality of craftsmanship first hand.
